is a private, non-profit organization established by the S.C. Sea Grant
Consortium, Clemson University Extension Service, and the City of Charleston
to undertake the development of 113 Calhoun Street: A Center for Sustainable
Living. The 113 Calhoun Street project is a public/private partnership.

in the historic district of downtown Charleston, S.C., the center at 113
Calhoun Street addresses the sustainability needs of communities
by using strategies corresponding to the essential elements that ensure
communities’ future viability.
